1. Role of Host
Hosts list trailers and enter rental agreements directly with Renters.
2. Responsibilities
Hosts must:
- provide accurate listings
- ensure trailer is roadworthy and legal
- maintain availability accuracy
- comply with NZ transport laws
3. Pricing
Hosts set their own prices.
TowHub applies a commission fee on confirmed bookings.
4. Payments
Payments are processed via Stripe.
Hosts:
- must connect a Stripe account
- receive payouts via Stripe
TowHub does not hold funds.
5. Fees
Hosts agree to pay:
- platform commission on bookings
- optional feature/verification fees
Failure to pay may result in:
- listing suspension
- account restriction
6. Booking Acceptance
Hosts must:
- respond to booking requests promptly
- honour accepted bookings
7. Damage & Bonds
Hosts are responsible for:
- setting bond requirements (if any)
- handling damage claims directly with Renters
8. Insurance
Hosts are responsible for ensuring appropriate insurance coverage.
9. Liability
Hosts accept full responsibility for:
- trailer condition
- compliance
- any claims arising from rental
10. Prohibited Conduct
Hosts must not:
- misrepresent listings
- accept off-platform payments to avoid fees
